USD #225 Board of Education Special Meeting
November 15, 2021, 7:45 A.M.
Meeting held via Zoom with board clerk and visitor on-site (grade school)
Call to order: T.J. Milford, Board President, called the meeting to order at 7:45 a.m.
Members present: Fred Boyd, Tom Huelskamp, Cathy Heinz, Kim Copenhaver, Jared Weber, and T.J. Milford were present. Others present were Cherie Nicholson, Superintendent, and Erica Littlewood, Board Clerk.
Ed Rarden was not present.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: Charlie Littlewood
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Milford moved, seconded by Copenhaver to go into executive session for 2 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel under KOMA, board and superintendent. This session is required to protect the privacy interests of the individual(s) to be discussed. Motion carried 6-0. 7:47 a.m.
Milford moved, seconded by Heinz to go back into executive session for 5 minutes. Motion carried 6-0. 7:52 a.m.
PERSONNEL
Assistant High School Basketball Coach – Milford moved, seconded by Heinz to accept Saul Medina as the assistant coach for girls and boys high school basketball for the 2021-2022 season.
- If any one team does not make enough to continue or play a scheduled game, the salary will be prorated.
- If there are not enough players to make a team, the salary will be adjusted to the salary of one assistant coach.
Adjournment – Copenhaver moved, seconded by Heinz to adjourn meeting. Motion carried 6-0 7:58 a.m.
