USD #225 Board of Education Meeting
June 15, 2020, 6:30 P.M.
Call to order: T.J. Milford, Board President, called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and Cathy Heinz led in prayer.
Members present: Fred Boyd, Ed Rarden, Kimberly Copenhaver, Cathy Heinz, Tom Huelskamp, and T.J. Milford were present. Others present were Cherie Nicholson, Superintendent and Erica Rarden, Board Clerk.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: Sue Givens
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Huelskamp moved, seconded by Boyd to go into executive session for 90 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel under KOMA; board, superintendent, and Sue Givens. This session is required to protect the privacy interests of the individual(s) to be discussed. Motion carried 6-0. 6:34 p.m.
Heinz moved, seconded by Copenhaver to go into executive session for 60 minutes: board, superintendent, and Sue Givens. Motion carried 6-0. 8:06 p.m.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Heinz, seconded by Copenhaver to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 6-0. Time: 9:06 p.m.
