USD #225 Board of Education Meeting
December 9, 2019, 7:00 P.M.
Call to order: Barb Whitney, President, called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and Whitney led in prayer.
Members present: Barb Whitney, Fred Boyd, Ed Rarden, and Tom Huelskamp were present. Others present were Jeff Bollinger, Superintendent, Corri McDowell, Principal, and Erica Rarden, Board Clerk. Richie Dewell and Jamie Boese were not present.
Recognition of Visitors/Communication: Kimberly McLachlan, Kimberly Copenhaver, TJ Milford, Debbie Wise, Emily Dizmang, Tammy Bollinger, and Cathy Heinz (arrived at 7:11pm)
Approve Consent Agenda: Boyd moved, seconded by Huelskamp to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
REPORTS Principal: Mrs. McDowell – No report given
Economic Development, Jamie Boese, representative, no report given
Special Education, Jamie Boese, representative, no report given
Superintendent, Mr. Bollinger, gave his report.
Discussion:
Superintendent Search: Discussion only. The board would like to compare superintendent search assistance options between KASB and Southwest Plains Regional Service Center. This topic will be revisited in January 2020.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Boyd, seconded by Huelskamp to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0. Time: 7:25 p.m.
